Brief de Design de Poster

Logline: By day, Liam Conway works at an art store where he is secretly in love with Hannah, the boss’s daughter. By night, Liam builds small dolls that resemble people from his life that have pissed him off, and makes stop-motion snuff films of horrible murders and slayings, at the hands of a masked doll named Dorian, a sort of stop-motion avatar. Liam becomes a suspect in a murder investigation when his enemies actually start to show up dead, and a life-size killer that resembles the Dorian doll stalks the city.

Dead Silence meets Maniac

I have included a sketch of what I think the poster should look like. It's an angle on the corner of a darkly lit art studio. Centered in the frame is a heavy, metal safe - with the door flung open. Inside we see Dorian, the 8-inch-tall stop motion doll. The inside of the safe has been scratched and distressed. On Dorian's face is a burlap sack, with the blood-soaked impression of his previous victim, soaking through to the front of the mask, almost like an inkblot test.

The tagline I came up with is "It's Playtime," but I'm open to suggestions. The top could also read something like, "There's somebody SPECIAL I'd like you to meet" or "It's time to play"

None of the attached photos are meant to be used, but rather to be taken as influence / inspiration. The script for the movie is written, so now we need a really strong movie poster to help sell the idea. Good Luck!
