Brief de Design Graphique

We need a label designed for our new product.

Our company is called The Bearded Chap based out of Brisbane, Australia. We create beard grooming products for the modern dapper gentlemen.

Our products have that 1800's US industrial/ Australian Colonial look and feel about them.

The label that we need designed is for our Original Beard Oil. It is in a 1oz (30ml) brown bottle with a silver cap. (picture 1)

Pictures are attached of what the bottle looks like and the specs of the bottle.

We also have attached some pictures of a design that we have come up with and some more insights.

It still needs to be based on modern marketing techniques, so the label cant be too busy like the samples, but still needs to retain the look.

There will be a single label, that wraps halfway around the side on both sides and across the face (see picture of bottle mockup)

The dimensions of the label are : 41mm x 70mm.


3 mains colours are to be used.

-the slightest of browning, that replicates old/dirty paper but still needs to have that newness about it.
-black for all text and logos
-faded red for highlights.

The background must have that slightest dirty paper look as it will be printed on white matt finish labels.

All writing and logos, will be in black. A faded red will be used to highlight certain words with underlines.

What needs to be on the front?
The front needs to be easy for the eye to look at and follow.
It needs to have
- the bearded chap logo as the centre piece.
- Original Beard Oil (as the product name)
- 30ml/1Fl.OZ
- usage:place 4-6 drops of beard oils in palm of hand. Rub into hands. massage upward into the beard and skin, under your chin and cheeks. to finish groom beard down and style as usual. use 2-3 time per week.
- PRODUCT OF AUSTRALIA

(depending on the space and what it looks like, the use may need to be placed on the side of the bottle.)

What needs to be on the side?

(the ingredients need to be in the specific following order)

Ingredients: Grapeseed Oil (Vitis vinifera),Hemp Seed oil (*Cannibis sativia),Jojoba oil (simmondsia chinensis),Almond Sweet Oil (prunus dulcis),Rose Hip oil (Rosa eglanteria),Australian Sandalwood oil(Santalum spicatum),Siberian fir needle oil (Abies sibirica),Himalayan Cedarwood oil (cedrus deodara),Bay West Indies oil(Pimenta racemosa),Lime oil (citrus aurantifolia), Black pepper oil(piper nigrum).*Organic.

*Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs.
