Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking to brand my business with an awesome logo that reflects my companies polish and professionalism in the industry of Electronic Security, using Card Access Systems (RFID and biometric verification), Video Surveillance, and Intrusion Detection Systems. I am a brand new company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada where the market is very competitive, so I need a professional look that will get me noticed !

To elaborate on what I'm looking for specifically in the logo is something that should look related to technical and IT industry and I would consider ideas that are geared specifically and toward video surveillance and streaming security cameras to mobile devices. Also some background on the name that could be useful is that I conceived the "veri" portion from Veritas the latin word for truth, as well as identity "verfication".
