Brief de Web Design
We need a home page design and headers for the other pages.
Our site is built on magento community and is up and running at
cheaprubber.com.au
so you can see what we do. Basically all the elements on the current home page are required but don't have to stay in the current form. This is just a template we used to get the site functional with little regard to design.
We are the only tyre company in Australia that is 100% online. We sell tyres for almost every vehicle including motor bikes, cars, 4x4, trucks tractors, ATVs mining equipment. We have no shopfront, we dont fit tyres or run a shopfront. We just sell and ship tyres at the best prices possible.
We want a design that
* uses complimentary colours to our logo.
* has space for the video and tyre chooser - without scrolling the tyre chooser needs to be visible at least in part. The chooser is a key element. This is how most customers will find their tyre.
* in the header or somewhere prominent on the homepage we want to advertise

Hi - It is in the job description but just to emphasise, the tyre chooser and intro video are key elements of our page and we need users to be drawn to them in a very visual way. Not flashing neon lights but some kind of elegant clean design.
