Brief de Design de Logo

Hello!

Our names are Mary and Rich and we are setting up a new Micro Brewery in the UK that will create traditional cask ales, plus focus on American style beers (IPAs etc). Initially we require a logo. In the future we will need related design projects (website, beer pump clips, bottle labels etc.)

Our inspiration for the company name came from the attached picture (The Fish.jpg) of a John Dory (St Pierre or Peter's Fish) which was a wedding present for myself and Rich last year!

We would like a logo that is modern and funky, but not too modern that it scares away the traditional ale drinker! However, saying that we really are up for anything, so please don't be curbed! The logo can include a fish or not (but I think it would make sense to do so), and it doesn't have to be a John Dory although I do like that one. Rich took a picture of the fish and had a play about with the lettering - see attached BronzeFish.png.
We are open to any colour combinations so long as they are easy to read.

I hope that is enough information and I look forward to seeing what people come up with :)
