Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a new and fresh logo for my application "Prairie Locator".

I would like the logo to be flat design and contain a unique symbol / character to represent our brand. The full logo is to be used on the website but likely only the unique symbol making it into small work areas such as an iPhone and iPad app icon.

To give an idea of the function of the app, a Land Location is a square mile of land in the Canadian Prairies. The apps primary function is to allow users to lookup these locations on a map by known address blocks or GPS (x,y) coordinates.

Up until now, I have used a compass as my symbol but that is not a requirement for this logo.

Please, only submit one image. If you want to show off multiple variations, please include them in one image.

• I am pretty open to leaving the design in the designers hands, my only request up front is to be vector based and supplied with an SVG of the design so that I can easily manipulate it into the many different sizes required for mobile app development.

• Attached is a photo of the current redesign, illustrating my need for a new logo. It would be nice to have the logo flow with the new design but work as grayscale as well in times of need.
