Brief de Design de Logo

I would like a logo designed for my website - The Farm Table - http://www.thefarmtable.com.au/. The logo will be used on the top banner of the webpages as well as on my business cards and promotional materials.

It is a central information portal for Australian farmers, agriculture students and others interested in the industry to link them to production resources and information, research and each other! I would like to communicate that we are a connecting platform of information, ideas and people, as well as featuring some key commodities (sheep, cattle, grain). I would like the design to be based on the colours in the website - orange, green, grey and white.

- current logo attached (I like this as it shows the information/education element and the animals, however I would like something more professional and a little more bang!
