Brief de Design de Logo
Background:
“La Granja Regenerativa” (The Regenerative Farm) is the brand name for a revolutionary new food production system currently being developed in conjunction with Via Organica, an organic farm school in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and the Main Street Project an NGO based in Minnesota developing sustainable food systems Latino family farmers. The model being developed in Mexico, takes a systems approach to give small farmers in Central America the tools they need provide an alternative to environmentally and culturally damaging industrial farming systems.
“La Granja Regenerativa” will be the brand under which a growing number of farmers market their products, which will include eggs, chicken, olives, corn, and sunflowers across Mexico and Central America as the project expands to markets and communities in Guatemala and Honduras over the coming years. Chickens are raised in pastures shaded by olive trees, and a rotating crop of corn, sunflowers, beans, squash and are fed a balanced diet of grains produced by local small farmers.
Positioning: We will be entering the rapidly growing organic egg market in Mexico, and will be positioning our brand as the only organic eggs, and chicken pasture raised with grains produced by local small farmers, with the freedom to forage under the shade of olive trees and a diverse Mexican Milpa (Traditional farming technique using corn, beans and squash).
Task/Objective:
This logo will be primarily used on food products we market, including eggs, chicken and olive oil, and should seek to convey the following:
• La Granja Regenerativa has a positive impact on local communities and the environment.
• La Granja Regenerativa supports local family farmers and feed producers.
• La Granja Regenerativa’s holistic approach allows us to produce a diverse range of products including eggs, chicken, olives and corn with out waste.
The term regenerative (Regenerativa) is used to describe a growing regenerative agriculture movement, which seeks to produce food while regenerating or reversing the negative impacts that industrial agriculture have had on the soil, environment, climate and communities. We do this by using all natural, sustainable, organic farming techniques that regenerate natural resources (i.e. restoring degraded soil, biodiversity, water cycles, local economies/food systems) while producing wholesome food.

Doit avoir
- The logo should ideally include an olive tree, a chicken and an image of corn. We would like the logo to have a "natural or rustic look", this is simple and not too busy. We like the idea of a circular design.
Bien d'avoir
- It would be nice to possibly include and image of a farmer or someone working the fields.
- Consider ways of incorporating the slogan below without making it too busy that: Regenerando Salud, Tierra y Comercio Justo
