Brief de Design de Logo
The Business:
We'd like a logo design for a women's fashion retail business based in London. We're a small business, currently with one boutique-style retail outlet. However we are looking to quickly expand and are working on an e-commerce website that we are planning to launch towards the end of the year.
The business currently sells boutique-style women's apparel, icluding clothes, shoes, bags, scarves and accessories (£50-£250). Please search for "jjpark" in Google images for an idea of the style of clothing.
Taregt Market:
The target market is middle to high income, style-consious, female aged 20+. However, we're looking at some point to expand the product range into men's/children's apparel and homewares, so the logo needs to be flexible enough to accommodate this.
Requirements:
Flexible - we need a mark that will work well both online (website, emails, etc) as well as offline (business cards, comp slips, clothes labels, shop signage, etc).
Timeless - we're hoping to be around for some time to come and would like to give the impression that we have been around for a while already, so need a logo that has a timeless feel to it, one that will not date quickly.
Simple & Elegant - marketing materials will feature rich imagery and varied, colourful, textured products, so logo should be well crafted, but simple and work well in black and white before anything else.
Professional - the logo design will be the first step in the overhaul of the brand identity, so will form the foundation of all the work to follow.
Personality - whilst we want something that looks professional we still want to maintain some brightness and personality.
