Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company based in Wellington, New Zealand called Topland Construction Limited. At the moment we mainly sub-contract labour to bigger companies, but want to project an image of being a company able to take on full contract jobs. Forward thinking, trustworthy and able to deliver on time and within budget. Not too fussed about colour but do lean towards a dark burgundy, only because that is what we use at the moment. The word Topland maybe incorporating some kind of image. Nothing too complicated, could be almost as simple as a type of font.We are looking for someting more conceptual symbolic an emblem or letter mark as opposed to actual pictures.
