Brief de Design Facebook
Design is to include a cover and profile picture to represent www.ecliptech.com.au.
There are two aspects to the company. Products sold direct to the public, and secondly engineering design services (business to business). This includes news, updates and information relating to products sold to the public, as well as aspects of design and products to gain interest from prospective clients. The cover should not have any specific product images, rather it needs a generic theme/pattern that relates to electronics engineering. It needs to portray an image of professional design elegance, modern technology and electronics design.
The cover picture must use the same black/blue/white main colours as themed for the website. The business card graphics (included with pictures) is considered a more desirable representation, as it as a more desirable fresh modern look.
The profile picture must use the Ecliptech logo with a background that matches/integrates with the cover, as per Facebooks layout.
Images related to electronics design have been provided, which are directly related to the engineering the company performs (images generated from actual projects). These are provided to enable the integration of these as a background/foreground patterns. They are not to be used as a full colour cut-paste on the cover. A preferred use would be to use a 1 or 2 images integrated into the artwork. Elegance over quantity. If the designer has a preference for image aspect, size or perspective that would be beneficial to your layout creation… please let me know and I will promptly assist with providing a suitable CAD image if possible.

Preference has been to see the website url ecliptech.com.au in small, but noticeable print on the cover picture. No other text is desired. Only use of the company logo in the profile picture (not the cover as well). Prefer covers that have a mix of black/blue & white. Preference is for blue to be the primary colour to keep the image bright, or alternatively black background with use of blue to make it bright. Avoid covers that appear as flat all blue (image still needs contrast). Limit use of white to highlights, edges or small areas.
If using electronics images provided, try not to hide too much of them with large graphic objects.
One design approach we haven't seen yet, but thought might work, would be to take the line pattern of the yellow signal trace on ignition_advance - 01.jpg image and continue it to ecliptech.com.au in a continuous script font (i.e. something like Mistral). Would need a font that is modern, not cursive script, (i.e. bad font = Vladimir Script). As before... small size, but with enough contrast to be noticeable.. Only an idea, not a requirement.
