Brief de Design de Logo
This is for an online auction site. We'd like to have a Nautilus shell (so minus the paws and antennae and whatever else that pokes out from under the shell), or any other beach/tropical theme. Could also be abstract if it conveys the message well. A couple of tones/colours that aren't too contrasting with each other. We're partial to marine colours, maybe blue shades, or blue/green, blue/yellow/sandy. Overall design to have as little lines as possible, so not detailed at all. Maybe smooth line, calligraphy-like, or with a playful, cheerful, youthful feel to it, not too serious. As if it was 3D/metallic considered but we realise it's hard to combine with the simple design! We would also consider anthropomorphising the subject (Nautilus or otherwise).
I'm soooo excited now - can't wait to see the designs :)

Update - the winner of this project will get first choice for further work on the logo, e.g. Christmas, New Year's, Mother's Day, Father's Day etc.
Sorry guys it took so long to decide, there have been so many great logos to chose from that we were just torn. Had to have a meeting to slowly (and I mean it) work our way towards our #1. Pity we couldn't have several! Will be getting in touch individually now. Regards, Cecile.

Tropical island inhabitants! This site will be used by people living in New Caledonia (in the South Pacific Ocean), French speakers proud of their tropical island and laid-back lifestyle. Typical user will be anywhere between early 20s to late 50s, somewhat tech-savvy enough to use a website but not geeky.
