Brief de Web Design

Design a clean homepage for a travel portal based in the US catering to Asians. The design should be able to be used on other pages, or color scheme menu layout, header and footer should be usable on other pages.

Include the main options for users to click, as an example some could be; 1. Local Tour Company 2. Local Tour Guide 3. Transportation Company 4. Tour Packages

Think like www.designcrowd.com who brings designers and clients together we are bringing Tour company, Tour guide, Bus/Transportation company directly to those who need it. This is for a two way portal, not a common one way portal like regular booking sites.

Assume that a person arrives or is planning on arriving at a destination, what are some options that should be on the page, layout of the options: squares, rectangles, stars, scroll slides, whatever makes you feel fun, elegant, fresh, uplifting.

Feelings we want to convey: fun, elegant, fresh, uplifting, interesting, energetic

Update:
When we said this should be a simple design, we meant simple for the end user to understand what was going on. I have attached a screenshot of a website, that it is very easy to understand what its purpose is.

How you decide to set up picture/scenery areas, logo area, menu area, where the options go is all up to you. Would like it to be clean and inviting, we would also like the options to be colors that call the users to action(make them click). This doesn't have to be colors so much as design.
