Brief de Design de Logo
Open to all graphic designers and illustrators, The Tea is a new web show surrounding five African American women of different generations discussing life issues as presented through the books they will discuss. This is a contemporary, lively, issues-driven, group-discussion book-talk show.
The logo would be a reflection of the phrase, "spilling the tea". Spilling the tea roughly means, "when one tells an especially juicy bit of gossip." This is a show about books foremost as a way to introduce smart, witty and REAL discussions relating to black life and culture. Think of an intimate group of women gathering for tea and social banter.
This show is targeted to African American women. The audience of the show is millennials to baby boomers (16 to 70-something). We want the logo to look good on the website (jointhetea.com), in social media, on t-shirts, and animated in our videos.
