Brief de Design Publicitaire

We need an advertisement design for the first of what could be a series of "call-to-action" ads for our e-commerce site for automotive tools, Mobile Distributor Supply, targeted towards hardcore DIYers and professional automotive mechanics/techs. We are an emerging brand in the space and are looking to forge a trusting relationship.

The idea for this ad, which can and will be used for the purposes of online marketing, is to use the "M" logo below as a silhouetted "missing part" of a car. Think the old "Absolute Vodka" ads, but for car junkies.

In this particular scene, we are looking inside the popped hood of a generic car in a garage from either an overhead or 3/4 overhead view.

The "guts" of the car are there, but the central engine is missing. In its place is the outline of the below "M" logo, driving home the strong imagery of the logo with the hidden wrench. The background will be the garage floor, light enough to be able to clearly see the tagline and below boiler plate.

There is obviously a job to be done on this car, and we want the viewer to think of us to get the parts to fix it.

The call to action below will be simply. "Get Your Gear". This will be followed by the full logo (with Mobile Distributor Supply), our website (www.mobiledistributorsupply.com), facebook and mailing list logos.
