Brief de Design de Logo

I run a small TV/Film Post Production company in Brighton. We do colour grading, audio mixing, editing etc. I don't want to constrain the brief too much but would like the logo to be fairly timeless, suggest top-end (our competitors are very swish places in soho - google them), preferably work on black or white background (but very open to colour options), mainly clean text based - would love to see some sort of customisation/unique feature but if that does not work then text only considered. Open to serif or sans fonts. any combination of upper case/lower case considered including normal/conventional/non-conventional
