We are a startup based in Melbourne working on a hot new iOS/Android social media app with an edge.
We have completed the scoping phase with the app developers and we are currently seeking a talented app UI/UX designer to work with to create something highly polished.
Our aim with this competition is to mockup the first screen of our app and effectively meet the designer we would love to move forward with to complete the entire design phase after a full debrief. Our app will be comparable to the look/feel of the Pinterest or Instagram apps, however, the functionality will be a little different. One of our app's main features does involve sharing smartphone captured photos to a stream (stylised gallery of photos) on a network.

We are inspired by the design language of the following iOS apps:

Please refer to the screenshot attached entitled MAIN SCREEN and create your own version of this UI/UX for this competition.

Our requirements -
* The title at the top title bar is called "Funkl"
* the 5 navigation text & buttons at the bottom dock from left to right are:
FEED (Icon of a map pin drop), PEOPLE (Icon of 3 people), CAMERA graphic or a PLUS (+) symbol or both without text label, ACTIVITY(chat boxes/hearts), ME (Icon of Person)
* We need to see what the dock items would like like in each of the 5 states. Eg. What would it look like then the FEED state is highlighted when the user is in the feed section of the app.
* Screen to display whether you are following these users or displaying content from all users.
* We want a small text overlay over each image in the corner, perhaps semi-transparent, to show a 3-4 character code and a heart symbol to like the image.
* We need to see at least 1 new notification any of the dock items
