Brief de Design de Logo

I am running for student council in my LAW school in Mexico. I want to create the logo for the party and transmit a sense of justice, balance and seriousness. The logo should transmit a sense of trust so the students vote for my party. Our party is also trying to express that we are doing serious business but also that we are approachable and we will listen. I would hope to see a logo option of only the word "Themis" and also options with a drawing. Themis is the greek figure for balance and justice so it could revolve around that.
