Brief de Design de Logo

We are a Primary School (Years Prep to 6 consisting of students from ages 4 -12 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) named Pallara State School. The school backs on to a natural bush reserve and creek which contains a lot of wildlife. Our existing colours are green and gold. Logo's that are designed for schools in Queensland need to be in both jpeg and Ai formats. We also need to have the Pantone colours listed for sing writers to be able to complete signage.
We would like to choose one logo from a variety of options.
The two concepts we are thinking of are:

1.) a "P" in a varsity type format (please see "example" attached) with a Possum or Squirrel Glider coming out of, on top of or around the "P". This should have "Pallara State School" written underneath it or next to it.
2.) A free for all with a logo that includes Pallara State School in it.

The logo that is chosen will be used on school signage and uniforms. This means that it will need to be embroidered onto clothes so please do not make the designs overly complex.
