Brief de Design de Pochette de CD
I need a CD cover design for my first Christmas project. My name is Elias Benn and I'm an operatic bass/baritone vocalist based in Atlanta, GA. The name of the album is VENI, which is Latin for 'Oh, Come'. It's going to be a 12-track album featuring traditional favorites such as O Come, All Ye Faithful, Angels we have heard on High, and I'll be Home for Christmas, to Latin classics such as Ave Maria and Panis Angelicus. I kept the musicality simple and classic so it's basically a voice accompanied by an elegantly accompanied piano, organ, or cello, either combined or solo.
I'm very open-minded to the creativity of the cover but I would prefer it not to be the generic idea of Christmas, i.e. decorations or snow, though I wouldn't be opposed those if the concept is artistic and appealing. My only real requirement is that whatever direction or interruption you go for with the project, it should without a doubt reflect and convey Christmas. If you need a color scheme for inspiration, think Red and Gold or Blue and Silver.
The final product will be for sale on different medias so that cover should be something that would catch someone’s eye in public or online; something to make you stop and listen, even if you don't purchase, so that would mean that my biggest requirement would be, like my subject line says, design me a BRIGHT STAR (figuratively speaking, of course, though an idea if executed correctly) that would lead other to want to know what this CD is about.
