Hi there,

May I ask you kindly if you've already picked a winner?

Regards,

any updates on the contest?

How long do customers have to decide on a design once the project deadline has passed?

Once a project has closed, the contest customer is sent an email telling them that their design contest has finished and they have a maximum of 31 days to select a winner.

If the client is not happy with any of the designs they have received, they are able to get more time (extend their project deadline) and/or increase their budget to receive more designs.

There are some circumstances which may delay a customer from choosing a design, such as:
The client has chosen a logo but requires changes before selecting; this is the most common cause of delay currently. We are continually looking to upgrade our system to better inform designers that the client has actually selected a design but are just working on fixing finer details before finalizing their choice.
The client is having difficulties choosing; if so we will look to get in contact with the client and assist them in making this choice. In some cases a client may opt to negotiate buying several designs.
The client requests more time due to internal issues on their end. These are especially difficult to resolve and it really depends on each case on how we can handle it. In these cases we often will try and notify the designers through the discussion tab of the brief.
If the client is waiting on input from other staff/board members/business partners. It can sometimes take up to a month to collect all the interested parties together in the one spot to make a decision.

We try to ensure that designers are kept up to speed with the clients decisions and are continually improving our system to ensure that the clients and designers have simple methods of communication in these instances.
