Hi all, pleased to say we are starting to get some great designs through and have at least a couple we would be happy to use for the company. On that basis, we have now committed to the funding which I hope is good news for you all. We look forward to getting more great designs in the coming days.

As far as I am able, I'm trying to give quick feedback on all designs I receive. I'll try to highlight where any tweaks are needed and also flag if I don't think a design will be taken forward, as I don't want you to waste any time on designs that are unlikely to succeed.

In due course, we'll downselect the top few and put them to a panel to make the final selection.

Many thanks to all the designers who have already submitted designs to this project - we are very pleased with the number and variety received and are delighted that there are quite a few very strong designs to choose from. With just 4 days left to run, this is a final reminder to submit if you wish to be in the running. In the next 1-2 days, we will have an initial downselect to the top 6 or so and will then give the downselected designers a quick chance to make any last "tweaks" before we select a winner. Thank you to all who have submitted - we really appreciate the time and creative brainpower you've put into this contest. The logo will be a core part of our company's "face" for many years to come, so we are naturally very grateful for all the care and attention you've given to what is a really important activity for us.

Hi, thanks again for all your submissions. We have now "upgraded" about a dozen designs (really about half a dozen designs and their variants) to 5 star ratings, and these will be the ones we now concentrate on for final selection of the winner. These will be put out for review to a few more people and, depending on their feedback, we may come back and ask for a few modifications or colour changes to see how they work in various contexts. We'll try to keep this to a minimum, but it will help us enormously to select the very best design for us. If you get asked for tweaks, it means you still have a good chance of winning, so please respond with that in mind!

Any designs with 4 stars or below will now be disregarded in the competition, but many thanks for your entries - we really appreciate your support!

Hi, many thanks for all your various submissions. We will not review any new submissions, other than minor "tweaks" we may ask from the few remaining designers. If your design currently has 5 stars, it is still in the running and you may still be asked for minor tweaks to help us decide. If your design is 4 stars or less, then it will not be taken forward - many thanks for all your efforts, we've been really pleased with the number and quality of submissions. I have now provided feedback to all designs, so hopefully you will have an understanding of where your designs have just fallen short of what we were looking for.

We will be away for a couple of days, during which we'll be gathering some further thoughts from friends & colleagues. For those still in the running, we will still be in touch and will downselect in due course. If you don't hear from us, don't worry - it probably means your design is already great without tweaking, so sit tight!

After receiving all the various final design tweaks, we are delighted to announce the design from Concept Company our winner!! I must admit that from early on in the competition (when it was first submitted), this has been a favourite for most of us and we are pleased, therefore, that it has won through. Overall we felt that it fully met the design brief; was both modern and timeless; elegant and restrained; clear and memorable and gives strong hints at the design work we do. It works particularly well as a watermark, reversed, black & white - in fact it was the most versatile of all the submissions.

Honourable mentions must also go to all our final downselected designs - in particular designs #7561171 and #7579038 which were only just edged by the winner. Ambi's design #7609766 was another very close finisher and we particularly liked the font in this one.

A huge thank you to all who took part - the contest would not have been nearly as strong without you, and we were really impressed with some of the wonderful designs created. I will keep a note of all finalists and will invite you to participate in any future competition we run.
