Brief de Design de Logo

Logo needed for a new property investment company - "safe as 3 houses". We help people build property portfolios as well as help them have more fun in life.
There is also a charitable element / giving back to the community.
I was looking for something a bit more out of the box that represents the values of freedom, fun and making a difference. Some designers used the image of a bird subtly (to represent freedom), which I like.
The fun element is doing something that you wouldn't usually do in ordinary life, like travel, or go to an amazing event or an experience (grand final, exclusive event, such as the US Masters), and making a difference is the element of giving back to your community, a charity or making some sort of positive change in your world.
Colours I prefer are dark blue, red and green and I'd like the image to stand out (not so much the words).
The creative use of houses in the logo is good, however, given this is a high-end product, the house image needs to reflect that.
My preference is for something flowing and modern, rather than geometrical.
I like the flying bird image in the background, but would prefer it to be more subtle - the bird represents freedom.
It would be great to have the elements of Fun and making a difference in there (maybe as background images, with the houses x 3 in the foreground).
An idea would be to have 3 x houses, and in the background have the flying bird (freedom), with another 2 images in the background representing giving (making a difference), and another image representing fun in the background?
I'm open to your creativity on this - if you feel you have a better idea, please go for it, as I'm not a graphic artist like you!
