Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for my business which is residential building, carpentry and interior design. I'm looking for a design which reflects the focus of the business which is to build high quality homes and additions/renovations with out of the ordinary design and finishes. I want to appeal to people who want a custom approach to building their home or addition and who are looking for a high standard of workmanship and interior design. I imagine the logo being black and white but I'm open to other ideas. The logo will be used on signage for building sites, business cards and later for marketing purposes.
