Brief de Design de Logo

I am just starting a small occupational therapy practice (health care industry). Occupational therapy is a client-centred health profession concerned with promoting health and well being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life.
I would like a design that is friendly and professional. I like bold colours, but don't want it to look childish or gawdy. I am looking for a relatively simple and clean design.
