Brief de Design de Logo

Logo design for a women's gridiron league in Australia.
I want the design to embody strength and skill.
At first glance you must be able to identify that it's a women's football program so no masculine identifiers if using body images.
I want it to be evident that it's full kit and full tackle football and not the lingerie league.
I'm open to the idea of incorporating a football silhouette onto the design however it's not mandatory as it make clutter the overall look.
The league is in Victoria, Australia - an idea was possibly using the outline of the state of Victoria (just an initial concept).
It can be just text however I think a relevant football icon(s) will communicate stronger visually.
Font: please avoid styles similar to the typical college sports fonts as seen on varsity jackets - I'd like something bold and commanding (can also apply stroke).
Colour: please avoid using bright/neon pinks.
Players will wear this logo on merchandise so they need to be proud of what it stands for.
