How do you convey on a 2 1/2" main club patch/badge Practical, Common Sense Training from a Biblical perspective? - all the things the children are no longer getting through the school system and rarely through the home. Our hope is to draw the family back together through the club activities.


We need a badge designed for new Scouting Program to be used in youth clubs at churches. It is called "Honor Scouts". The scouting program will be for girls and boys aged 3 thru 21. This badge will be the main club badge and we will then have the age division badges designed after the main club badge is finalized. They will be the Peewee' Scouts - preschool. Junior Scouts - 1st thru 4th grade. Scouts- 5th - 7th grade. Guides - 8th - 10th grade, Master Guides - 11th grade thru age 21. We will have the club promote being a faithful Christian, Bible Study, and a practice area of study where the person can earn Honor Badges. Some of the areas offered is cooking, knife making, archery, water craft, first aid, camping, community service, winter survival, etc. There will be division specific badges that can be earned and some of the badges will have prerequisites, i.e., winter survival. It will be the Christian program that incorporates the best of other clubs throughout the world like the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4 H Club, Future Farmers of America, etc.

The vest color will be a light brown colour trending to olive green.
Badge should look good on this background colored vest. The badge must have an outline on the badge that would highlight the badge on the vest.

We want a design that can be sharp looking on an embroidered patch to be sewn on the scouts club vest. This will be the main badge worn by all divisions and they will also have a division badge on the other front pocket of the vest. All of the craft or Honor Badges will be sewn on the front and back of the club vest.

We anticipate having 50+ patches designed in the near future at about one each two weeks. We hope to get some good designs from design crowd for this first main badge that will be the first of many.

So the short of it that we want a main Honor Scouts embroidered badge that is to be embroidered and worn in the front vest pocket of all age and division members of Honor Scouts.

We have three countries already signed up for this program and anticipate being used by at least 100 churches in the first year and growing by more than 100 each year.

Our budget is set for the first 50 badges to be designed.
