Hi! Do you know exactly what's your friend's colour vision deficiency?
Red-Blind/Protanopia
Green-Blind/Deuteranopia
Blue-Blind/Tritanopia
Red-Weak/Protanomaly
Green-Weak/Deuteranomaly
Blue-Weak/Tritanomaly
Monochromacy/Achromatopsia
Blue Cone Monochromac
Or any other hint?
Hello,
I have asked him before but he is not certain which he is. However I have attached a few examples of the Hidden Digit Design Template, in my brief. Just take a look at my attached files.
My friend can't see anything on the following files:
Ishihara 29 or 70 Monday, 24 August 2015 18:45:03
Ishihara 57 or 35 Monday, 24 August 2015 18:45:03
And the Ishihara Plate 23, he kinda sees both the 4 & 2 although not very clearly. So that won't work. The only one that works is the Ishihara 9, where we see a 74, but he see 21. So that's the only colors we can work with.
Sorry to trouble you and thanks for your effort in this.
Regards,
Kevin.
Hi. I'm little bit confused.
Do you want to your friend see what is it on poster or not?
I'm designing some object in circle.
Hello yes I do want him to see what is on the poster. However, we are using the Ishihara 9 template color to do that. With the Ishihara 9 template colors, on the one I upload, normal vision sees the number 74 easily. However, my friend being a certain type of color blind, can only see the shade of green (that's a bit darker) that shows the number 21. So I was hoping that it could be designed such that while normal people sees one object, the color blind like my friend will see another object instead.
So far two have tried, one guy did a R that was supposed to be seen as a P by the color blind, however my friend did not see that quite clearly, seeing a H instead, barely making out the P... And there is another who did an apple, that had a 'banana' inside that my friend saw, but to him it did not look like a banana, but just a ugly crescent moon... So I told the designer thanks for the effort.
I think you can just re-use the ishihara 9 template and focus more on the poster layout and style if to design an object is too difficult.
Regards.
Hi, I have been working really long on a design, which i haven't been able to submit on time
Would you still be interested in looking at it??
Thanks
It combines objects instead of numbers.... I think thats what you were looking for!
I think that you close this project before end.
It's not fer, I work two days on your project, and now I don't see anything on my eyes.
Hello,
I wish to apologize to all the people who were still working on the project for the last days, and I closed it out before you could submit it.
This is my first time using DesignCrowd, and having known graphic designer friends myself, and seeing them work, I know how much effort and work has to go in to making these designs. So I really am sorry that I was unable to see your project. I have already made a commitment to Lubka's design, so I will reject seeing other designs, cause I think it will not be fair to her for me to do so. I think I might not have been clearer in my brief, but Lubka managed to understand me, that although the Ishikara template is needed, she in the end focus on the design of the poster itself, the background, which made it extremely pleasing to the eye. And it matches well with my friend's home style and colors as well.
I think this incident could possibly be avoided in the future with the artist working on the design to:
- Start work early and submit as soon as possible.
- Inform the project owner that you are working on it and will submit a design soon. If anybody told me that they were working on it, I will definitely wait, or ask the person before I close it out.
Once again I really apologize for any troubles caused. I think the next time I request for work from DesignCrowd, what I can do to avoid this happening, I will make an announcement that I am going to select a design before closing it.
Regrets,
Kevin.
I think that you did really wrong thing,
because you said that you don't want to we just copy Ishikara template and that you can do that for your self.
Me and probably more of designers work really hard on your project and lost a lot of time for nothing.
If you are really designer you will understand that what I'm talking to you.
But if you said that you already declare winner I think that you and your friend are lose opportunity to see very good poster.
