Brief de Design de Logo

We are an ecommerce business selling hardwood flooring. We need a logo that's bold, but very approachable. IMPORTANT * Please see the link to our website design to get a feel for how the logo should fit. It would take the place of 'The Retailer' logo at the top left. Please use site to give you a guide with the logo.

We do not want anything with colour gradients in, and are thinking about warm, brown tones as colour.

Will use a picture on the right, with logo text on the left. We had an idea that the design would include planks of hardwood drawn simply like how it looks on a floor (see sketch in photo). Of course, our drawing is just to give you an idea.
