Introduction
Questrace is a site that connects young people’s business ideas and matches them to investors all around the UK. It’s a crowd funding/ business angel website which is ultimately designed to give people a chance to carry on their business dreams and receive the necessary funding and support.
Questrace has been imagined by a young student entrepreneur, and has a young and energetic drive to go out and support aspiring business leaders in their bid to drive to the top.
Questrace culture and style
Questrace in terms of its image is a hyrid of a company and has to in many respects suit many audiences. Firstly, Questrace is designed to appeal to the a young student audience (18-25) and the logo should incorporate the energy and vigour of a young entrepreneur starting out in business. If you look at the earliest logo of Virgin brand. There’s certainly a young brand going into the world of business element which is a great inspiration to Questrace. Furthermore, major sporting brands like Nike have logos which emphasise a’ get up and go’ attitude which Questrace should incorporate.
Secondly though, but not in contradiction of the previous energetic element, Questrace is an investment firm which is regulated. Therefore in order to appear trustworthy and safe, Questrace should still have a degree of maturity to its logo. Questrace should still have to appear trustworthy and safe to a mixed audience of investors. This can be anyone from high net worth individuals to family members who also want to invest. Therefore, it would be good to have a logo which gave off a sense of confidence and security to those wishing to deposit their money with Questrace.
Conclusion
I am very welcoming of different and experimental designs for logos which would sum up the culture of crowd funding, however the points raised above about security and trustworthiness of the logo are vital but Questrace still has to appeal to a younger audience.
