Brief de Design Étiquette

We need a label for a new brand of coffee that we are selling in Portland, Oregon (Coffee Capital). Our company has no current online presence but have some great roasting techniques. We will be roasting our own coffee beans from throughout the world and selling them immediately after roasting causing a super fresh and high quality product.

We will be packaging in brown kraft bags: 3 3/8 X 2.5 x 7.75 inches which is standard for coffee beans.



Also notice on that sample the blue section in the middle has the product name. We want to also make it so that there is a consistent area that we can print OVER the label the name or blend of the coffee.

Our company is called Black Diamond Coffee Roasters. We will want to put blackdiamondroasters.com on the label someplace (we dont have a site yet but will by launch).

We need to incorporate A Black Diamond into the design. No preferences yet on the style of it.

We want to be a super-premium brand. Sort of like MicroBrew beers. We will sell at Farmers Markets, online, and directly into stores. Image is very important to us.

Labels should be about 3" wide and about 3.75" high.. Perhaps higher if a cool design justifies the height. Again we will be using a brown kraft bag (like grocery bag color) as shown on the sample.
