Brief de Design de Logo

Looking to add a modern logo design. This is a cabinet shop that has been around for 35 years. We build hi end custom cabinets for the Bay Area in California. We are looking for a logo that would look good on a t Shirt as well as embroidered on a polo. I was thinking that "THE" would be smaller and in caps and "JOINERY" would follow in much larger letters. "Superior level of Craftsmanship" somewhere in the logo as a tagline of sorts. I like the Dewan Cabinets design that was done on this sight.
