Brief de Design de Logo

The setting is reclaimed wood inside and out, band stage for entertainment, beer-da-leers, the Warthog I shot in Africa on Safari and wasn't girly enough for my cottage so he graces the party barn under a beer sign. One night while the band was playing, our lead singer welcomed everyone to the Warthog Theatre. There it was, we had part of the name. Theatre didn't work so waterhole developed as you would find it in the middle of Africa. We figured both the party barn or a waterhole would be out in the middle of nowhere - the party barn is in the middle of no where, imagine riding your horse for miles upon miles back in the day to the Warthog Waterhole for a nice whisky or a cold brew. Meeker Colorado is full of ranchers, real cowboys still working cattle, haying the land, etc. Also, my husband and his buddies are the band - they come from Kansas and Houston. People with real jobs coming together for the love of music.

The decor western/rustic on the inside. The beer-da-leers have beer bottles hanging upside down, the plain green bottles, unused vintage beer labels, I glued the labels upside-down or so they could be read right side up while the bottles hung upside down, I used horse bits/snaffles to make chains for the beer-da-leears to hang from the ceiling. We have 1950's western settee, red & off white (horse head & saddles embroidered in fronts), 3 tall bar tables made out of beer barrels, industrial feet fabrication to make them bar height, chunky stools for comforting people after a long day's work welding, putting up fence, hanging roofing material, riding tractors putting up hay, etc., (the chairs are not in yet-not in photo) and a custom industrial/rustic bar by a local. We had a few dancers down front to the old rock & country music at our first shin-dig to break the place in - it was just a blast. The waterhole portion which is considered the adult beverage on ice or in ice chests under the bar for the perfectly ice chilled beer. This party barn is just outside our big custom barn house that sleeps nearly an army. We have 2 RV's for extra beds so no one is driving! We look at the mountains from every window, a man made lake out one side, 2 ½ miles of the white river on our property, numerous acres of hay ground, sheep that come after the hay is cut in the fall to fertilize, then they move move off and it's hunting season. We'll have a heard of 30 elk or mule deer in our hay fields or see a mountain lion spread out ⅓ the size of our bridge. We've passed a mama bear and her cub on the road heading up the mountain. We are truly in the middle of God's country.

Our friends come from out of State. (We're really from Kansas but built this place to get away from the summer heat.) We have friends from Meeker, Kansas and Houston out to visit, all are Safari hunters, all hunt in general. Every month there is hunting or fishing somewhere, some state, some other Country. I don't want to leave out the ladies, after all, I'm the lady that shot the warthog that graces the party barn. My first LOGO instinct was a warthog in a position much like a bull with a cowgirl bull riding in blue sequin bellbottom pantsuit, red bandana with a pink cowboy hat. Because the warthog is small, that concept is a little out of Whack and I tend to have a wild sense of humor - and my husband wouldn't go for it. The colors are Barn Red, Green, Off White, colors you might find in the 50's.
