Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new logo for our well established property in Ballina NSW Australia, the property is called Ballina Travellers Lodge Motel, all our rooms have been refurbished basing on classic european boutique style hotels (Italian & french style), we would like a logo that feels welcoming, warm and reflective of our rooms.
We would like the colours dark red or bordeaux (even purple) mixed with gold or silver to be in our logo. But we do appreciate any original proposal you might come up with. Attached is our current logo (we would like the words "Travellers Lodge" to be prominent on our new logo please).
