Brief de Design de Logo

Greetings! I’m Dana, a home designer and former production stylist opening a retail business that promotes Elemental and Metaphysical themes.

I am looking for a logo for my home decor retail business. The store theme is centered around the Elements Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, so there is a strong metaphysical aspect too.

Using intention, global décor, and symbolism in design, the shop presents a shopping experience where consumers choose to create living and work spaces associated with the attributes of Earth, Air, Water, and Fire.

By example, the attributes of Earth would be grounding (i.e., bath and garden), ideas and thought through Air (journals, incense, window décor, and books), nurture and regeneration (fountains and watery themes), and Fire, which represents passion, illumination, and transformation (candles and lighting).

Elemental color associations are:
Earth: Green, Brown, Black
Air: Yellow, Pale Yellow,
Water: Blue, Deep Blue
Fire: Red, Orange

I intend to trademark this design, so it must be original.
I attached some ideas for imagery. Please see the word document attached to this brief.

The elemental symbols themselves are symbols used in literature (triangular symbols pictured in the attached), but the business name itself is a trademark.

Keys, doorways, keyholes, are my personal symbols, but I think they could translate well to a logo.

Ultimately, it’s important that the logo express that Elemental Spaces is about living spaces, and have a metaphysical aspect as well.

The logo will immediately be used on the storefront, in the media, and on sales materials.

Exigences

Doit avoir

• The logo should not be crowded, but balanced and easy to read, since the words are so long it is important that the consumer be able to read it in a millisecond. A logo that has some interest aspect will be favored.

Bien d'avoir

• Terrain, keys, home imagery, color, and shadows are acceptable.
• UPDATE: Earth Air Water and Fire Icons used within the design have been a popular alternative and will be considered seriously. See attached examples in file titled Logo Images II.
