Brief de Design de Logo

Rod Meyer is a modern day shaman. This means that I can connect with the unseen and untapped energy around us to help produce health and physical changes in peoples lives. It lends to me helping people in just about any way in which they have been trying for so long and have been unable to produce themselves. Sometimes we just need a little help right.
This kind of work often produces results that people are amazed and very often bewildered by.
My mantra for business is basically this - I want to grow my business by word of mouth when people say "You've gotta go see this guy! I don't know what he did, but it's amazing and he's helped me change my life!!".
Now, the shaman quite often falls under the "spiritual" realm of consideration. What happens now unfortunately is that people in the west do not trust this kind of work because they have not idea what it is and they steer clear of it. I come from a business coaching background for $20 million - $250 million (USD) turnover businesses - high corporate stuff, so I am very comfortable mixing it with these types. What I will now do with my website is develop a series of 10min YouTube videos that have me discuss the practical usage of shamanism and basically build the viewers confidence that I am not some airy fairy guru and that these processes actually work very effectively and that there's no need to be fearful of the things we don't necessarily understand.
My name is my product. I need it to be oozing professional, but I need it to also be "non corporate" looking. I am from Australia, so I enjoy surfing, indi music (Check out John Butler Trio as an example of who I aspire to because of the things he supports). As a shaman I am deeply connected to the earth also, so very grounding deep and darkish (Matte) colours are helpful.
I need it to be simple, serious and allowing trust with an air of the unknown.
The website style that I will be projecting it onto will be the wootheme "unsigned".
To save you some time, the shamanic practitioner I work with is Alberto Villoldo (thefourwinds.com) so check out the theme and styles he uses because he shows a lot of the peruvian techniques and tools that I now use and aspire to.
