Brief de Design de Logo
We are a start-up company based in Sydney Australia that develops innovative mobile applications for consumers. Our initial product is iTraffic Australia - an app for the iphone that alerts drivers of approaching speed cameras, school zones and traffic delays. Over time, we will create additional applications for other uses and also extend to all platforms (iphone, android/google, blackberry, etc) Therefore, do not focus on traffic at all but rather what the mobile web can enable for consumers.
Our name is a combination of App (Application) and Ovation (Innovation). (note: "Ovation" can also stand for applause! also a positive connotation for a consumer app if folks are happy with their experience.)
The mobile web market has finally emerged after many false starts, and this will change how consumers use the web in their daily lives. It will enable many new experiences as the original introduction of the internet in the 1990s. We want to help create this innovation and transform experiences.

Note: This is a re-run of a previous contest from a month ago. The first contest was not guaranteed. We did get some good submissions (thank you for that!) but none that we were ready to move forward with. We want the best designers in the market to work on this project and are guaranteeing the prize this time!!

Everyone - Thanks for the submissions to date. There are some good ideas, but nothing that is an obvious winner. Please continue putting forth ideas, and I will give daily feedback to designs. Again, try to make the logo simple but with a subtle hint to innovation and mobile web (on the go). Don't limit your color choice to what's on the website - indeed, it should have more warmth and vibrancy than the blue tones there today.
