Brief de Design Icône

Accredo is a Windows based accounting and ERP application aimed at a broad range of SME businesses with sophisticated requirements.

We are looking to update the look of our existing icons and to extend the set of icons to allow more options to be exposed in toolbars. Our current look and feel is circa Office 2003, we want something closer to an Office 2010/2013 feel.

This initial project focusses on a single form in the appliation requiring 44 icons. Once we select a design we will want to engage the chosen designer to create a consistent set of icons for the entire application. Currently we have 248 unique icons and are looking to increase that by approximately another 50, most icons are reused on many forms.

The brief is to update the look to keep the application fresh, without confusing our existing user base.

For details of the icons required and a description of their function see the attached spreadsheet. Don’t feel constrained by the existing style or images we are wanting a fresh approach.

• Icon size is constrained to 22 x 22 pixels, 256 colours. We create hot and cold versions of the icons as required in code. Format used by the application is .bmp.
