Brief de Design de Logo

A logo is required for a modern professional electrical power engineering consultancy with a software focus. The company name is "Applied Power Technologies Pty. Ltd." The main focus is "Applied Technologies", "Power" simply qualifies the engineering field of practice. The logo should reflect this emphasis such that "Applied" and "Technology" are prominent and "Power" is secondary, for example;
APPLIED Power
TECHNOLOGIES
or something better created using colours, gradient, fonts to acheive this effect. The companies domain name is appliedtechnologies.com.au so "applied" and "technologies" need to be more prominent than "power".
The logo should be a modern design and present a professional image. The company does not have a registered trading acronym e.g. "APT" so the graphic should not be based on these initials as I would prefer the company was not referred to as "APT" given the other entities using those initials. Because the company name is to please an emphasis on "Applied Technologies" I think the graphic (if any) should be consistent and reflect technologies with a subtle reference to power rather than something that is very specific to electrical power, like a flash symbol.
