Brief de Web Design

We need a smart, simple logo and web design for a new start up company based in Melbourne Australia called "Small Business Support Link". The logo is to be used on all marketing materials. The website is the primary interface of the company.

Our initial phase (launch) will provide a B2B directory service, resources and solutions.
A.) By listing on our site, small businesses can generate sales for their business. Regardless of where they might be located in the world, then can sell to Australian small businesses.
B.)Through our resource centre, small businesses can find practical and up to date resources for their business in pre-start up, start up, growth, maintenance and succession planning or exit stage.
C.)And on our site, we'll offer time and money saving solutions. These solutions can be packaged solutions (ie. Car Branding = including design, print and application onto the vehicle at a discounted price). Customers can also contact us if they want to advertise their business solution.

Eventually, there will be a total of five services inclusive of the directory described above (ie. business classifieds, link to Asian businesses, expos/seminars listing, etc). We hope to see this site grow over the next 18 months. All services will be aimed at servicing small businesses. Individuals through to large businesses located any where in the world can service these small businesses.

We would like to see designs that are professional. They should communicate growth, trust, professionalism and forward thinking.

• We have attached some of the current files that we have designed ourselves. We feel that our material is lacking in appeal, professionalism and consistency. However, it does give a good idea of the requirements needed such as login, directory on the frontpage, etc. The wording is not final, as we are trying to finalise the design first. The logo was simply a placeholder as that definitely needs to be designed.
  
  We want a logo and website that sticks in people's minds, its memorable.
  
  We want a website that is EASY to use and navigate.
