Brief de Web Design

We are looking to do a refresh of the website for Resuscitation International, they invent/build devices for the medical industry revolving around Resuscitation.

They are currently marketing a single product but will be launching a 2nd product in the coming months pending certain medical certifications. The devices these guys engineer save lives, in the 12 places this new device is going through trials at the moment it’s already brought 80 people back to life.

I look at their current site and that just doesn’t tell me that story.

The people visiting this site will be:

* Doctors/Medical practitioners/EMC wanting to find out more information about their products. They’ll likely want to watch videos and read2 white-papers

* The products are bought by Hospitals/EMC/Fireman/Ambulance procurement staff. These visitors will likely have been given approval to purchase the product and are looking to find their nearest Distributor.

They're a very "proud to be American" company, but by no means in an ostentatious way. They're proud that it has been designed and engineered in the USA. They are trying to educate people about their products and the lives that they save.

It is not and e-commerce site, their products are distributed and marketed independently by Distributors. It is a Marketing/Splash site. The logo is apparently off-limits … I've attached a crappy version of the logo, good luck with a google images search. I've bought an option for a logo upgrade, I really doubt that is on the menu but ya never know.



We are only after the PSD designs, we will build it ourselves. We’re down a designer who went out on early maternity leave and I thought I’d see what you crazy crowd-sourced cats can come up with. I figure once we've picked a winner it will end up in some additional work, there will be probably 5-8 different page templates that I'll need help with.
