Brief de Design Application

This involves designing the UI for an app used for training with others. The app will give the user a lists of sports they can create events on. The training mate logo design should be quite prominent in the app ui design. I have uploaded a sample. And also pictures of my attempt at designing this. I would like this design enhanced for android and ios. the sports being offered are as follows.
