Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a social golf tournament. The tournament is called the "Gimmegate Invitational" and it is in its 5th year. The tournament concept arose out of a round of golf between 4 mates about 5 years ago during which there was controversy over whether a particular putt was given (i.e. whether the putt was a 'gimme' or not). Ultimately the result of the round turned on that question and the controversy became known as "Gimmegate" which formed the basis of the golf tournament now held each year in the Australian spring. A photo of the trophy is attached - on the top of the trophy there is a golf ball close to the hole and the words "Would you give it?"

Whilst the event is primarily a golf tournament there is also quite a focus on the apre golf side of things - i.e. drinking/socialising. I am happy for those aspects to be incorporated into the design. The tournament is an all-male affair - an opportunity for old friends to catch up.

The logo may incorporate the letters "GG" or the word "Gimmegate" but other than that I do not want any other words in the logo (e.g. see the attached US Masters logo which is just a logo with the word "Masters" for a similar concept).

In the first instance the logo will go on the chest pocket of a jacket awarded to the winner. The jacket will be a traditional clubby style blazer (similar to the attached concept image) and will be pink in colour (pantone colour chart PMS 707) with bluey/green piping (pantone colour chart PMS 344).

As such, the logo should be a same bluey/green colour as the piping, which is PMS 344 on the Pantone colour chart - attached.

Going forward the logo may be used on other items such as hats, golf balls or any other paraphernalia used as part of the tournament.

Given that the logo will go on a clubby looking blazer, the feel of the logo should be more traditional/clubby looking than modern looking.
