Brief de Design de Logo

We are a non-profit helping an impoverished community on the tiny island of St. Helene (located off the eastern tip of Roatan) Honduras. After building a school for the community, we have taught the women how to take plastic grocery bags and make plastic 'yarn' out of them. With that 'plarn' they crochet purses, bags, place mats, floor mats, etc. We sell their wares and give 100% of the money directly back to them. Additionally, some of the men are getting involved by making crochet hooks out of bamboo, and making hand-carved wooden buttons and shells.

We want a logo for tags to attach to the bags. The tag will be made of organic, recycled material. We want the logo to convey the essence of the island, and the strength and dignity of the people making these products. I will attach the logos that have been submitted by friends thus far. (Please have an accent mark over the last 'a' in Roatan. I don't know how to put it in this text box.) I am also attaching a couple of photos of some of the women with their first attempt at bags. They have since gotten much better at the quality of the bags, and their creativity.
