Brief de Design de Logo

I'm launching a new business providing colour management services such as training and on-site colour calibration but also the website will have a really active blog on colour management issues. My customers will be photographers, designers, printers and anybody else who needs accurate colour reproduction. The logo will need to be used on the website and business cards etc, and also as an icon for social feeds. I've uploaded a graphic of a colour space (the range of colours a device can reproduce) that I quite like but using it in the design isn't a requirement. I want a logo that is strong and clean with good typography. One that says something about what I do but without straying into cliché. It should also be able to work off a variety of background colours.
