Similar to Red Bull, Porsche and Apple. Qwik Cool's Products are a premium brand within the cooling market. From towels to high performance sports products Qwik cools products crush the competitors. The product regardless of the conditions stays cold even in the hottest conditions. Our current clients range from the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton's to professional athletes. We are currently redesigning our packaging for our towel line.
The goal of this design is to have someone look at the package and say "Whoa...". When customers first try the product they have a good idea of what to expect, then they try it and are blown away. Simply put the towel sells itself. Sales reps have stated that the highest closing rates are when they say nothing at all.
With that being said we are looking for a packaging that has the same effect. Imagine you are sitting by the pool side in Miami in the middle of the summer, you feel like your body is on fire. Someone then offers you a qwik cool towel that instantly cools you making the unbearable suddenly... enjoyable.
Yes, this is the effect we are looking for off the shelf. If this were on the shelf at Walmart in the container how do we get this same effect. Things that our customers have indicated were a plus was when the cooling effect was displayed by both color and transition of the logo. This effect typically takes some layering in photo shop but when done right results in a much higher customer rating.
The containers are a plastic tube (roughly 10 inch by 3 inch in by diameter) and an envelope style pouch that is 10inch by 6inch. Official dimensions will be updated later this week.
We are looking for a simple clean look that screams "premium". Again, the "whoa" factor is a must to stand out against competitors. The main color schemes to consider are hot red, Ice cold blue, silver, black. Realizing that building a a compelling design that relates to an audience of 16-30 Male and Female is tough please ask questions. It must connect to parents, teens and active athletes. Again, think Red Bull and how it connects with everyone.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Due to a massive influx of designs we will be extending the project for four additional days to fairly evaluate all of the designs. No new designs will be considered after today (April 19th). I will be sending out the designs to our network and the one that gets the most votes wins. I really appreciate all of the different designs and will keep you posted on the vote count.

- Simply put I want people to say "whoa..."". When they use the product they say it and instantly buy almost every time. Unfortunately i can't have everyone get to have a free demo. So I need the packaging to convey this and make people feel like it's the party they want to be invited to
