Brief de Design Graphique

we have recently purchased Avalon Holiday Units and are in need of a new logo as the old one is old fashioned and doesn't reflect the newer, fresher, more modern product we now provide.

The accommodation is self contained holiday units in a small coastal town in NSW. We are very relaxed, quiet, clean, neat and tidy. We would like a sharp design but not too "corporate" or flashy.

We allow pets so "pets welcome" will be a Tagline within the logo. Maybe just smaller, centred beneath the logo m

A more mature demographic as well as families. We don't want to lean too heavily toward a target market and deter other interested demographics. We are 3.5 star and intend remaining hat way so somewhere in the middle of high end and budget.

Exigences

Doit avoir

• Must be clean, crisp, uncluttered and legible.
• Should contain the words:
• Pets Welcome
• Centred, beneath the Avalon Holiday Units text. You may decide it looks better elsewhere but it shouldn't be the main focus. Something that people find once they've taken in the rest of the logo.

Bien d'avoir

• We are in a coastal town so reference in the form of a faint coastline behind the font could be nice. Not a dominant feature but visible. I've attached an image of a logo that has a similar coastal reference. The only thing that I'm trying to portray with that is the way they've represented a coastline. The layout, font etc should be ignored.

Ne doit pas comporter

• Any images of pets. We are a pet friendly complex however we don't want this to be a dominant feature within the Logo. If there is any reference at all it should only be in the form of a simple:
• "Pets Welcome"
• Centred and below the logo in smaller text.
