Brief de Design de Couverture eBook

I am currently writing a unit of work for the Australian Curriculum entitled 'Love & Squalor: A Study of Voices of War' for Year 10 students. This package will have two publications - a Teacher Companion and a Student Workbook.

I need a cover designed for both the Teacher Companion and the Student Workbook. These need to be matching covers, however, I also need them to be distinctive in some way so that a person can tell the difference between the teacher's guide and the student book. As it is a unit on the topic of war, I need the covers to reflect this theme - but nothing too graphic!

This is taken from my unit introduction:

"Through studying a variety of poetry, short stories, visual texts, media and multi-media texts and non-fiction, students will explore the context of war and its relevant issues: patriotism, nationalism, love, honour, sacrifice, destruction, pity and despair.

The texts within this unit offer the ideal forum for exploring issues of war as they capture the intensity of emotion that war evokes and demonstrate the ways in which language can be used to communicate powerful ideas and shape audience responses."

This is the first of a series of similar products, so I am looking for the same person to design covers for all the Teacher Companion/Student Workbook sets. For this reason, I need the covers to be designed with a series or product line in mind - i.e. I'm looking to brand the series in a distinctive way.
