Brief de Design de Page d'Accueil

I am building a self-service property management web portal, the domain will be land.ly.

Property owners will register using LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter; maintain a list of their properties, place advertisements on websites such as craigslist, schedule property tours, have those schedules placed on renters outlook and gmail calendars, send rental applications to applicants, run credit and background checks on applicants, keep track of maintenance activities and expenses, see reports on seasonal pricing trends for the area, police reports relating to their properties and tenants, etc. I am not aware of any similar sites.

Renters will be able to see a site, based on leaflet maps that shows a heatmap for their area, either detected via html5 or specified by the user in their search. Heatmap will be computed based on dollar / square foot * (quality * condition). The goal of the site is to help users decide what areas to look at for rent, and to help them find cheapest times to take leases. They will be able to register to be notified when the price drops some amount. Think hipmunk.com and its agony search as the corollary to time to move (November is cheaper time to move but maybe less convienient), also think of Microsoft Farecaster or decide.com as similar concepts. The closest visual site I know of is padmapper.com /w its ability to do a heat map for for walkscores. This will exist under land.ly/renters.

I am actively building the renters site with a freelancer developer, I have no web design just collecting the data and building the scaffolding but we will need one within 10 days so he can begin to build look and feel.

I am working on the workflow for the landlord portion of the site, as it is the most complicated.

In the meantime I am building a JSON web service with a freelancer developer to collect user names and emails and deposit them into a database to be used for a landing page(ala - http://www.kickofflabs.com/showcase) I need a design for this.

So in summary I want you to help me with a logo, landing page and the initial web layout for the map.

I have attached a balsamiq mock up I did that should get the idea across.

If I like your design and this initial phase works out I will likely come back to you to do a MUCH larger design project for the remaining user interface.
