Brief de Design de Logo

We're setting up a new Cafe and Farm Shop business in this Garden Centre - http://www.askettnurseries.com/

The Cafe and the Farm Shop will be separate buildings, but following the same sort of theme/values. Key descriptors as follows:

- Fresh
- Local
- Friendly
- Warm and welcoming
- Free range
- Clean, tidy, professional
- The best Cafe I've ever been to
- Farm Shop selling great quality produce, all locally sourced
- Happy, smiling staff who are keen to please
- Great environment for people of all ages

We are calling the venture 'The Potting Shed' and envisage a logo which carries those words plus 'Cafe and Farm Shop', if at all possible.

Colours should be in-keeping with a Garden Centre, but we're looking for clean and modern rather than chintzy and floral.

The buildings where the business will be located are brand new, made out of wood, and the operation will be slick and professional.

The interior design, signage and menus will need to entice the current target audience (existing Garden Centre customers) plus new customers that have never visited the site before.

The inspiration for the design and ‘brand’ will very much be taken from nature and will use natural colours – greens and whites with splashes of bright, vibrant colours. It will not be a busy, modern, space but will have small touches of vintage, colourful loveliness without being overly 'girly'. The focus will be on classic, simple style which will work for different ages and suit both sexes.

We aim to always have pretty, fresh flowers and greenery to create a clean, attractive space. It is important to us that the cafe is friendly and approachable with traditional values, home cooked, hearty food and good coffee. We may use local artists to create pictures for the wall.
